For centuries, the signs were considered indecipherable. Over the next 15 years, the University of Bonn will publish the first complete dictionary of the Classic Mayan language, including an online database of all hieroglyphic texts. The print version of the “Dictionary of Classic Mayan” is expected to consist of three volumes.
